Import/Export

Palm Beach Equine Medical Centers is the largest provider of veterinary regulatory services in the United States, regularly exporting hundreds of horses annually to England, South America and Europe. Exporting competitive horses contains many variables, so we strongly recommend that you contact your home clinic for specific information regarding your horse.

Regarding importing horses, Palm Beach Equine Medical Centers supports the South Florida CEM Quarantine Center. Mares and stallions arriving from Europe will receive first-rate care as they go through the USDA procedures, taking cultures and blood tests to ensure the safety of the horse population from any possible diseases.

Needville, Texas- Dahlia Meyer- “Thank you for the Wellness Program, I am glad to see someone in Texas wants to keep the horse industry in Texas, it has been so slow for the breeders, owners, and trainers in the recent years.”

Dahlia Meyer owns American Paint horses and Quarter horses in Needville, Texas. She has watched the horse business evolve for the last 30 years. Now she enjoys going to Paint Horse Shows with her 6 year-old granddaughter, Maci. Maci is a fourth generation horsewoman in the Meyer family. Dahlia and Maci enjoy their time together going to a few horse shows a year.

All competitors should know that we must keep our horses up to date on all their vaccines and coggins, as well as, the other health matters depending on your horses,” commented Dahlia. “Whether your horse is competing or not, I believe all horses should be kept up to date on all health care. This is why I am so excited about the Katy Equine Clinic Wellness Program for our horses. I am a grandmother trying to teach my granddaughter the correct way to care for her horses and have some responsibility in her life.  We ride Western, English, and Rodeo We now have a 26 year-old Paint gelding, a 4 year-old Paint mare, and Maci’s future World Champions, a yearling Paint colt and yearling Quarter horse filly. The horse industry in Texas can use a break and thanks to Katy Equine things are looking better.  Now many individuals that own horses can and hopefully will put their horses on the Wellness Program offered by Katy Equine.”

“Thanks again Katy Equine for caring!” From our horses, Sammie, Zipper, Scotty, Miley, and our miniature horse, Chester.
